Yin + Reiki - Compassion

Friday March 20th, 6:30-8:45pm

Reiki is an energy healing treatment that works holistically on the whole body, mind and spirit. Reiki is a treatment where natural healing vibrations are transmitted through the hands of a Reiki practitioner to the body of the recipient. The purpose of a Reiki treatment is to relieve stress and pain, induce relaxation, release emotional blockages, accelerate natural healing, balance subtle bodies energies and support other medical modalities including traditional therapies. Emma will channel the Reiki energy through her hands and direct it to students where she feels it is needed.

Compassion, or in Sanskrit, karuna, is a deep and expansive state of empathy. Instead of remaining merely a feeling or emotion, compassion is a state of action; through compassionate gestures to others and self-compassion in difficult moments, we are able to lighten suffering in the world.

Reiki Practitioner Emma Sinclair and Yoga Teacher Ellie Johns will again be joining forces to bring you this incredibly relaxing and healing Yin & Reiki experience.

Indulge in this 2 Hour 15 Minute Yin & Reiki class where you will be guided by the relaxing sounds of Ellie's soothing voice, with long-held yin poses and meditative sounds. Emma will be spending time with each person in the room, providing reiki healing energy throughout the class.

This beautiful evening will be held at our cosy and intimate studio from 6:30-8:45pm on Friday, 20th March, 2026.

Book early to ensure you have reserved a spot for this healing experience.

Beginners’ Yoga Course

Thursdays, April 30 - June 18, 7:30-8:45pm

New to yoga? Or ready to finally feel confident with the fundamentals? We all have to start somewhere.

In our eight-week Beginners' course, we take our time to learn the basic poses and concepts of a yoga practice. We cover physical shapes (asana), breath (pranayama), and meditation techniques commonly found in our Equanimity and Balanced flow classes. The course has a special extended class time of 75 minutes, so that we can workshop shapes and answer any questions, and is capped at 12 people so that individual attention can be given.

Gen loves teaching beginners. She's been teaching specialised courses and classes for beginners since 2019, and has designed this course so that your practice can be safe, deep, and comfortable.

Whether your goal is to feel confident walking into regular classes or to create a home practice that actually feels good, this course will leave you feeling capable and supported, every step of the way.

Inhale/Exhale: Yoga and Breathwork

Friday May 1, 6:30-8:45pm

“Without full awareness of breathing, there can be no development of meditative stability and understanding.”
- Thich Nhat Hanh

The breath is the meeting place between body and mind. It is something we do every moment of our lives without thinking, yet the moment we bring awareness to it, everything can change. When the breath becomes conscious, it becomes a powerful tool for shifting how we feel, how we move, and how we experience ourselves.

When breath and movement are layered together, the experience becomes even more powerful. Movement can prepare the body to breathe more freely, while the breath can deepen the way we feel and inhabit each movement. Both can be gentle or intense, subtle or expansive, but when practiced with awareness they have the capacity to shift you physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Join Equilibrium and Power of Breath for an evening exploring the extraordinary potential of your breath. Firstly, the movement portion of the evening will help you prepare the body to become a supportive container for breath. Through intentional movement and focused attention, you will explore how breathing and moving together can influence your inner experience. Then, the evening will include two styles of breathwork: a gentle, grounding practice designed to calm the nervous system, followed by conscious connected breathing, where the breath flows continuously in a circular rhythm to help release tension and access deeper awareness within the body.

This is an invitation to experience the breath in a new way, and to explore how something so simple can create profound shifts within.
